Training Rundown: What My Running Looks Like When I'm NOT Training

Happy Wednesday! We made it to/over the hump (guess it depends what point you are in your day)! I wanted to share with you what my training is currently looking like when I'm not actually "training" for anything. Still using this month as a down period, but keeping my fitness up enough so I can make it through my 50k in July! I'm LOVING this time right now (have I said that enough yet?!?) to just be flexible, but am already starting to get the itch to run faster. What does your "training" look like when you're not training? This is the first time this year that I'm not in a pretty strict schedule, so you better believe that I am milking it for all it's worth!

Monday 6/11: 7.28 miles @ 9:57 pace 600' elevation gain all done before 7am! 30 minutes of strength training in the evening

Tuesday 6/12: 4.0 miles @ 11:06 pace 429' elevation gain. This was on a new trail system and I got completely lost and forgot to stop my watch a few times as I studied the map : D Nice and easy recovery run!

Wednesday 6/13: 3.17 miles @ 10:34 pace 673' elevation gain. All done before 5:45 in the morning! Did 5 x 0.10 mile repeats on mile 1-2 then a mile cool down back home. Lots of hills!

Thursday 6/14: REST DAY/ Honey Stinger Photo Shoot

Friday 6/15: 6.16 miles @ 9:39 pace 99' elevation gain. Originally I had wanted to get in my 10 mile run, but it hailed on me twice (SO painful) and when it started thundering for the third time...I called it! 30 minutes strength with baes afterwards!

Saturday 6/16: 4.21 miles @ 10:04 480' elevation gain. 20 minutes of recovery yoga

Sunday 6/17: 10.09 miles @ 9:52 804' elevation gain

Total Mileage Last Week: 34.91 miles

Have a great Wednesday!
